SMS is owned and operated by John McCuaig. John has been involved in Banking and Finance for over thirty years and before becoming involved in mortgage broking, held senior management roles specialising in residential finance. He has now been involved in mortgage broking since February 2000.

John is an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and holds the status of Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. John is also active in the industry's peak body, the MFAA, being a member of the NSW Originators Committee.

Specialty Mortgage Services is a full member of the MFAA which gives clients confidence that they are dealing with a professional organisation that is committed to the industry code of practice. SMS is also fully supportive of the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL).
